Home Sweet Home! Exactly six months have gone by, and I'm finally getting into the groove of things. My estates are functioning well and flowing. I turned my Uncle's estate in Orlando into a Poly-farm. Here my crops and veggies can grow without worry. I also hired two horticulturists to help maintain the land. Orlando, Florida, has become my permanent place of residence. The other estate back home in Fort Lauderdale has become a local Air BnB ran by my parents. I paid off my house and set it up for Air Bnb, as well. I have officially become an entrepreneur with more than three sources of residual income. Horus and I decided to invest in a local Art Studio and a food truck. Horus loves to cook, so the food truck was ideal for him. I brought it for him for his birthday. I still haven't told Horus about the money; he thinks I'm a well off spoiled brat with intelligence. Well, probably not exactly like that, but he doesn't question my business ventures. The Art Stud...

Soul Venture Cristina wasn't so bad, after all. We ended up spending most of the night together, laughing and talking. It was like we were long lost, buddies. She's sweet at heart, although she has significant insecurities. After our long talk, I decided to take it easy on Cristina. I'm also going to encourage Miguel to be a little more compassionate towards her, as well. "Miko, come on, Tracey's here!" Cristina and I decided to go out together. She and her friend Tracey wanted to show me how they get down. We rode down this long dark road to a big treehouse. It looked like a bungalow; I entered through the front door greeted by shimmering red and gold beads. There were lava lamps everywhere. It had a Mediterranean feel with bohemian accents. Pillow throws, mandalas, singing bowls, crystals, and aloe vera incense filled the air. The calm midst from outside gave the house a coolness. Cristina introduced me to her friends as we walked through the house. ...

Return to Honduras After much deliberation and frustration, I decided to return to Honduras. I reflected while on the plane. I had plenty of time to do so. Jackson had gotten on my last nerve smothering me for the remainder of the time he was around. I was beginning to understand why I enjoyed our time away from each other. He returned to his tour and would be gone for 12 months, Yay me. He insisted that I visited him when the time permitted, and I told him I would think about it. , I finalized my inheritance logistics, and in a couple of weeks, I will officially be a millionaire. No one knows about the money except my parents, not even Nadia. Uncle Seymour requested that only the information about my inheritance of the estates and stocks be public. He made it very clear that no one was to know about the cash inheritance except my parents. I was grateful for that, and I know my parents appreciated that gesture as well. Otherwise, it could've been a mess. I mean, it already wil...

Surprise It had only been a week since I had returned from Honduras. I wasn't in the right state of mind with Uncle Seymour's passing and all. It didn't help that I had to leave Nadia behind with our new friend Miguel. What else could go wrong? The sounds of Lucky Daye's song 'roll some mo' began to play lowly and increased as my phone rang. I answered it reluctantly. "Hello," I didn't pay attention to the number displayed; I just answered, and when I heard his voice, I wish I hadn't. It was my ex, Daniel. What could he possibly want from me at a time like this? "Miko, hey bae. I heard you were back in town. Sorry to hear about your Uncle Seymour. I was in the neighborhood and wondered if I could drop by. It's been a long time since we've seen each other, and I figured you could use a friend." What the hell was he on? "Uh, actually Daniel, I'm not in the mood for you nor your shenanigans. I have a lot to deal...

Reflections I couldn't believe it! Uncle Seymour was gone! The family will be in disarray now. He was the glue that held us together after Papa passed ten years ago. Nadia was hell-bent on getting me to cheer up and enjoy the one week I had left in Honduras. She was not letting up at all. "Miko! Come' on cheer up sis. I'm here for you, I promise, but I do know Uncle Seymour would want you to live in the moment and enjoy your life in the present. Right?" "Yeah, I guess you're right. It's just I never expected to be in this place at this moment, ya know." Nadia grabbed my hand and placed it in hers. "I understand, truly, I do.  I felt the same way when my Aunt Trudy passed away." I had a flashback of Trudy and Nadia; they were inseparable. Trudy didn't have any kids, and well Nadia was her daughter and niece. Trudy lost her battle with cancer a few years back. I knew Nadia could sympathize with me; I just felt it was all too ov...

The Road to Honduras  My parents had been trying to contact me for the longest. I don't know how I managed to miss several of their calls, but they finally made contact. My dad was quite hysterical when I answered the call. "Miko, where the hell have you been? Your Mother and I have been trying to call you for days. You could've sent a message." Of course, I felt my dad was exaggerating because Mother knew I made initial contact when I made it to Aruba and then again when I was on my way to Jamaica, but I guess it has been a while since then. "Ok, Dad, I apologize I'll do better to stay in touch. What's all the fuss about anyway?" "Your great Uncle Seymour passed away a week or so ago. It was unexpected, and of course, you know you're his only great-niece." What?! Uncle Seymour? Oh, no! I had just thought about him before I began my venture. He always encouraged me to be true to thyself and live my most authentic life. My hea...

Rasta Experience As I walked down the trail to the waters, I could see the bright blue stream. The trees were like none I had ever encountered, so green and filled with fruit. There's nothing like entering a state of euphoria and realizing you're there. These Rastas have a way of welcoming you in spirit and the natural. I found myself utterly flabbergasted as I sat before a free spirit named Issachar. He explained to me that he was a non-traditional Rasta who believed in the foundation and premises of the culture and faith but was not bound by it. Since he and his tribe practice a lifestyle that embraces poly living many frowns are upon them. So, they live high up in the mountains away from the city in the countryside. They allow Haile Selassie to lead them, and the ancestors guide them daily. Their principles of life are One Love, non-attachments to material items, having the knowledge and knowing that eating meat is eating flesh, and believing babies and children are d...

Connections I was sitting in my room, thinking about all that transpired as I began to write in my journal. The past week has been a gift from the universe. I've gotten to know Kwesi, Layla, and Claude as much as I could within seven days. There were instant connections and an expression of gratitude for them gracing me with the gift of their presence. I was ecstatic to find out that Layla and Kwesi live in my city, Fort Lauderdale. We'll see much more of each other. Layla has a real, quiet spirit, and she's bold. She carries herself with such confidence and wears a crown that no one can remove. As I've gotten to know her, that's what I appreciate the most. She's so free, intelligent, and sexy. I adore the way she and Kwesi allow themselves to be total without restraints. They've been in their polyamorous relationship for five years. They are seeking a woman to add to their foundation. I told them as much as I am into both of them I don't know if I ...

The Morning After I could not believe the night I had. As I sat on my suite balcony and watched the sunrise, Kwesi and Claude laid in my bed still knocked out sleep. When I tell you that was a night to remember, believe me, it was. There was a repetitive soft knock at the door. I gathered myself as I dragged my body to the door.  I spoke reluctantly, "Who is it?" A strong sensual feminine voice responded. "Hi, my name is Layla. I'm your suite neighbor. I was wondering if your hot water is working?" Before I answered, I opened the door a little to get a peek at my neighbor. It was the same thick woman from the bar last night; dressed in a beautiful two-toned bathing suit and slides. I greeted her with a smile. "Hi, hun! I'm Miko, pleasure to meet you. I don't know if the water is hot or not. I haven't had a chance to check, but you can come in, and I'll see if it will get hot now." I opened the door to let her in. She made her way...

Island Fiyah        Jamaica has been nothin but greatness since I got here. I'm finally getting to happy hour today. I've just been lounging in my room and on the beach the last two days keeping to myself before I go out on the prowl. As I sat at the bar, all I could do was think about Horus, and then this fine female approached the bar for a drink. She was thick in all the right places... I couldn't help but notice her. "Excuse me, Bartender can I get an apple martini please?" Her voice was raspy and sexy. I was anxious to speak to her, but instead, I let the moment pass. All I could do was fantasize. There are times when I want to go after what I want constantly, and then there are moments when I want her or him to come after me. Today was one of those moments. Let's see who is interested in Miko today. "Bob Marley with a twist, Irie?" I heard a robust masculine voice from behind me project to the bartender. The closer he got. I could feel h...

Hello Jamaica I still can't believe Horus and me. Well, we didn't have sex but came close to it. Oh, how I longed to lay my yoni at his altar and be subdued by the mandingo slayer. Horus is a procrastinating charmer, not me. It's crazy because the way he touches me makes me melt. There's so much warmth behind his touch and the energy that goes with it.  I reflected as I sat on the plane, preparing for my exit — another safe landing. Jamaica, here I am. There's no telling what's in store for me here but, I'm determined to make a greater connection than in Aruba. "Welcome to Jamaica, Wah Gwaan?"  The greetings of my driver wooed me into an irie state. I began to feel at home instantly. The scenery was more than I imagined even the ride to my resort estate in Montego Bay was nostalgic. Have you ever experienced a moment where everything is familiar and strange all in the same? All I could do was embrace the eery. When I got to my villa, I was over...

Goodbye Aruba As I sat under the moon for the last time in Aruba, I realized how much anguish and sorrow resided within me still. I'm grateful for the reflection which has come after the detox. My body's cleansed on the inside, and now my soul can begin to declutter. My hopes and desires had brought me here, yet the healing that my soul required was much more than I could fathom. I've always wanted to be free.  Live without restraints, rules, and even consequences at times. I know that sounds ridiculous, but the world system can bog you down quite fiercely if you allow it or never gain control.  In my letting go, I've learned to flow. As I sat, the ocean waves rushed toward me, washing away the residue of my sorrows. I embraced its essence and love. As my body shivered and my mind cleared, I realized what this trip was all about. First I had to allow me to see me truly; in my own eyes and in the eyes of a man who had no ill intent for my being. Horus has shared his ...

Purging- The Journey Continues      The night was young, and Horus and I had spent yet another day together. It was something about him that kept drawing me in. I love the way my soul feels fulfilled after our conversations. He's a man of so much substance. He's not the average guy. He talks with so much knowledge beyond the norm. He has big plans to travel the world too, but his spiritual quests have him prioritizing things in his homeland first. I must admit I thought I'd have more time to myself on this trip. A week has gone by, and I've balanced my time pretty well. It's just I haven't learned how to tell Horus no. I'm grateful that he is respectful though not to take up too much of my time. He's been encouraging me to stay focused and fulfill the quest and purpose of this stretch of my journey. So, what I have learned so far is that I've held on to many issues from my childhood and teenage years that created a block within me. This block do...

The Journey continues...ARUBA                As the wind blows across my body, I can feel it caress my face. My attention's drawn to the waves before me. The sound of the ocean soothes my soul. The sand in between my toes feels serene and quite therapeutic. I've finally made it to ARUBA. My first trip out of the country alone, and it feels great. I've never allowed myself to be so free. There's nothing like fulfilling a quest that you've desired for so long. As the sun beams down on me, I can feel the warmth of love embracing me. I close my eyes and relax. There's nothing that can take away from this very moment. "Peace Queen, excuse me." I heard a voice speak to me. At first, I thought I was dreaming. I opened my eyes to find a young man standing before me.  'Hello, how are you?' He seemed enthused by my response. "I saw you from a distance and was drawn to you. I just wanted to know if I could join you and have a conver...
