Nostalgia ..Part 2
As we checked in to the Resort, I noticed a familiar scent. It was patchouli and black woman oil. Where had I smelled this fragrance? I couldn’t put my finger on it. As Lionel and I approached the elevator, the scent got stronger, and then I saw her. Beautiful and bodacious, with every loc of hair intact. Her smile was invigorating. It was the woman from my dream, Celeste. My heart began to race uncontrollably, and I could feel butterflies in my stomach. I gripped my luggage handle tightly as she stood next to me and spoke. “Fifth floor, please.” Lionel turned to her and smiled. “Sure thing, honey. You’re in luck today. We're all heading to the same floor.” She smiled at Lionel and thanked him for his kindness. As we arrived on our floor, Lionel held the door, and she and I exited.
