 The day I laid eyes on her I knew that SHE was special.  The way she walked and carried her essence was surreal. I knew that I had to connect an encounter with her, but how? Then the universe supported my endeavors and made it happen. She became my prayer partner,  confidante, sistar and friend... It was amazing the connections we made... Then we realized through a candid conversation our paths had crossed before... We were in high school and I  had got into a fight with this punk and well she witnessed it Who would have known that two girls from the same city but two different worlds  Would meet such a fate..... We've had our ups and downs; yet we have evolved through it all. I'm so grateful for the relationship that has been afforded to US It has taught me so much, but the greatest lesson is that SHE's a reflection of ME I never thought that I could love someone the way I love her My best friend, Priestess, Coach, Partner in Wild, she uplifts me and I her... ...

Rasta Experience As I walked down the trail to the waters, I could see the bright blue stream. The trees were like none I had ever encountered, so green and filled with fruit. There's nothing like entering a state of euphoria and realizing you're there. These Rastas have a way of welcoming you in spirit and the natural. I found myself utterly flabbergasted as I sat before a free spirit named Issachar. He explained to me that he was a non-traditional Rasta who believed in the foundation and premises of the culture and faith but was not bound by it. Since he and his tribe practice a lifestyle that embraces poly living many frowns are upon them. So, they live high up in the mountains away from the city in the countryside. They allow Haile Selassie to lead them, and the ancestors guide them daily. Island Fiyah        Jamaica has been nothin but greatness since I got here. I'm finally getting to happy hour today. I've just been lounging in my room and on the beach the last two days keeping to myself before I go out on the prowl. As I sat at the bar, all I could do was think about Horus, and then this fine female approached the bar for a drink. She was thick in all the right places... I couldn't help but notice her. Purging- The Journey Continues      The night was young, and Horus and I had spent yet another day together. It was something about him that kept drawing me in. I love the way my soul feels fulfilled after our conversations. He's a man of so much substance. He's not the average guy. He talks with so much knowledge beyond the norm. He has big plans to travel the world too, but his spiritual quests have him prioritizing things in his homeland first. I must admit I thought I'd have more time to myself on this trip. A week has gone by, and I've balanced my time pretty well. It's just I haven't learned how to tell Horus no. I'm grateful that he is respectful though not to take up too much of my time. He's been encouraging me to stay focused and fulfill the quest and purpose of this stretch of my journey.
