Breathwork
One of the greatest gifts of life is our BREATH. Every day we go from moment to moment without consciously paying attention to the very operation that keeps us in motion. Breathing is an essential function of the human body and a necessity for life. The realization of breath importance has recently shown through in many breathing exercises that are rapidly increasing around the world. A phenomenon is sweeping the earth that involves one of the greatest pleasures of life, breathing.
According to Wikipedia, Breathwork is a New Age term for various breathing practices in which the conscious control of breathing is said to influence a person's mental, emotional or physical state, with a claimed therapeutic effect. Breathwork has no proven health impact other than promoting relaxation and can cause distress. However, Breathwork clients are raving about their life-changing experiences after the completion of initial sessions. One patron of Breath facilitator Anton Wisbiski stated, "I have never breathed so deeply! I laughed, cried, sighed, and felt an array of tingling sensations in my body. The completion of the session left me feeling light and renewed. I felt the love of the universe and the power of my being rise in me. It was invigorating, and I look forward to incorporating this exercise into my daily practices." -Isaiah David
As we approach an age of enlightenment (2025) known to many as The Age of Aquarius, humanity is seeking just that, to be enlightened. Breathwork is offering this opportunity to become more aware of self and present in the now. Breathwork provides a chance for many to heal from past traumas long forgotten. Wounds that have sunken deep into the cells of one's being causing unnecessary stress. Indeed to be healthy in this life, we must first start within. Breathwork allows the opportunity for that inner self-work to begin.
Although many will look at this phenomenon as a trend, breath facilitators worldwide are hoping it will last a lifetime. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, many have had the opportunity to stay home and look within. Some have taken this chance to heal, while others have become overwhelmed with fear and anxiety. Breathwork is one of the many suggestions that is coming forth from facilitators like Anton Wisbiski. Organizations like his empower people to be one with the universe and embrace the love of humanity while releasing stress, pains, and traumas from the physical body.
