THE TRIBE

Soul Venture

Cristina wasn't so bad, after all. We ended up spending most of the night together, laughing and talking. It was like we were long lost, buddies. She's sweet at heart, although she has significant insecurities. After our long talk, I decided to take it easy on Cristina. I'm also going to encourage Miguel to be a little more compassionate towards her, as well. "Miko, come on, Tracey's here!" Cristina and I decided to go out together. She and her friend Tracey wanted to show me how they get down. We rode down this long dark road to a big treehouse. It looked like a bungalow; I entered through the front door greeted by shimmering red and gold beads. There were lava lamps everywhere. It had a Mediterranean feel with bohemian accents. Pillow throws, mandalas, singing bowls, crystals, and aloe vera incense filled the air. The calm midst from outside gave the house a coolness.

Cristina introduced me to her friends as we walked through the house. By the time we made it to our destination, I had realized how elongated the house was versus what I initially thought. "Cristina, this place is amazing!" "Cool chicka, I'm glad you like. Tracey and I come here all the time. It's our kickback spot." She smiled at me as she grabbed Tracey by the waist and pulled her close. "Miko, there's so much more of this place to see. You can explore or hang out with us in the treetop." She looked up as she finished her sentence.

I had never seen anything like this before. The ceiling was wood and glass, whereas you could see straight through. The unique architecture of this house geeked me. I don't even know if I could call it a house anymore. It was much more than that. I nodded to let her know I would follow them. The music was getting louder, but I enjoyed the feel of it. The celestial sounds of the cosmos played as I headed toward the bar and grabbed me a drink. I watched Tracey and Cristina disappear up the stairwell.

The drinks are non-alcoholic; the host believes this environment is best with all-natural products and few substance enhancers. My drink's finally ready; as I turned to walk toward the stairs, I dropped my phone. I reached down to get it, and so did he. We bumped heads. I smelled him before I saw him. The fresh scent of Florida water cologne adorned him. "Here you are, darling." His voice so familiar; it was dark so I couldn't see his face behind his shades and hoodie. "Thank you! Do I know you?" I felt I knew him; his very essence and being was speaking to my soul.

He responded sarcastically. "Of course you do, but I was hoping you wouldn't notice me; not yet anyway." He took off his hoodie and shades. "Horus!!!! What are you doing here?" Before I knew it I grabbed his neck and hugged him tightly. "Hi, Miko. Come, let us talk. I decided to find you in the now." He grabbed my hand and led me to a mandala, and we sat. I could not believe my eyes. Horus is here with me in Honduras. What is the universe cooking up?

"Miko, I've had a lot of time to think about my life, and I decided I didn't want to miss out any longer on this potential love relationship that could be with you and me." My mouth dropped open, was he serious or what? "Horus, I don't know what to say." He placed his finger on my lips to shush me. "Shhh. Just let me speak. I know that you believe in tribal living, and I'm all for that. I always have been. I just wanted to build with the right Empress. After starting my cruise line job, I connected with the universe on a greater level. I had visits from my ancestors, and they brought me great tides. I considered the information I was given and made my final decision. I choose you, and if you have me, we can begin where we left off."

What was Horus saying? How could he? What the fuck? All I knew or thought I knew started to get a little fuzzy. "First of all, how did you find me?" He looked at me and smirked. "You told me where you were going, remember, and I made a few phone calls to a friend who was able to put me in touch with Nadia, and she was eager to tell me your location." That Nadia, she cannot hold water I tell you what. OMG! "Horus, you know I'm very fond of you, but the whole idea of this trip, is for me to complete it and flow with what occurs. I never expected to see you again honestly, and at least not this soon. But now that you're here, I'm grateful, and I want us to get to know each other on another plane. Nadia told you where I was, but how did you know about this place?" He smiled again as he looked down at my hand and caressed it.

"Well, I was planning on visiting you at Miguel's tomorrow, but a local told me about this place, so I decided to come tonight. I noticed you and your friends when you all arrived. I was surprised at first, but then I just looked up and smiled because I knew the universe had already ordained our connection." It didn't matter what Horus said at this point. All I knew was that I was in heaven, with him being here. He kissed me, and I fell deeply into his arms and let his essence take me away. I felt it again, but this time even greater. That feeling I once had when Jackson held me in his arms; that was it times 20. Ohh-Whee! I'm embracing Horus, and I'm not turning back. I want him, and he wants me, that's all that matters. We will figure out all the logistics later.

"So, you're willing to move to America with me?" I expected him to hesitate. "Sure, Miko, I will follow you wherever you are. I told you I had some things to get in order spiritually, and I have. I've been working on me forever, and the more I continued to do that, the more I was guided to you. I know this is a lot to consider, but if you want to move to Aruba or stay in America, either way, I'm game." All I could do was be present at that moment. I inhaled and exhaled while listening to Horus tell me more. The night was young.

Tracey and Cristina found Horus and me in our nook. I introduced them all, then we sat, chatted, and ordered some food. Finally, I got a chance to smoke. Cristina made a connect with her guy friend while she was gone. Tegucigalpa, Honduras, has been good to me so far. I'm looking forward to all that it has to offer me, and as always, I will continue to look deep within and see where the universe takes me.

Last night was the most exciting night I've had in a long time. Horus told me he would only be in town for the rest of the week; he has to return to finish up the rest of his spiritual assignments. I feel right about Horus being My primal King. I would have chosen him, yet ironically he has chosen me. Today he and I are going to a shaman and priestess day retreat that his grandmother suggested. This woman has friends in many places. We'll be there together but separate throughout the day. We only get to meet up during group meditations and meals.

As I laid in the steam room, I embraced my future and hugged myself. I closed my eyes; the meditation music became louder. I saw myself ascending and going into the cosmos. There I found myself in my celestial sanctum requesting the true essence of my journey to be revealed. I laid it before the gods and goddesses and thanked my ancestors for their guidance. I reveled in the glory of my sanctum. As I laid there, the downloads flowed fluidly. The cosmos adorned me ever so peacefully. I could hear the Astro sounds and feel the elevation of my soul as I ascended higher to a lighter realm. There were hues of blues, purple, red, and yellow, all basking in a soft glow. There's no doubt that I had finally made it to another dimension in time. Although time does not exist, I'm sure you catch my drift...

After my solo session, I felt refreshed but light-headed, so I went to the well to drink some water. There, she approached me. It was an older Asian woman who I'd noticed when I arrived but didn't speak to her. "Miko?" She asked as she approached me. "Yes, I'm Miko." She gave me a head nod and proceeded to speak. You were chosen by the elders for a reading session tomorrow if you would like to return. We welcome you for another day of the celestial spa with more intense sharing from the cosmos and allowance for inner reflection and connection in the latter part of the day." I just smiled as I drank my water from my copper cup. "I would love that. I'll return tomorrow first thing." She nodded once more and said her farewells. "My name is Meihui, which means beautiful wisdom; I will be here to greet you at sunrise." I nodded at Meihui and bid her farewell. "See you in the morning."

The Bell sounded! Another meditation session had ended, and it was mealtime. All patrons were encouraged to share meals but had the choice of being in solitude. Horus joined me at the far end of the cafe area. "Miko, how are you, darling?" "I'm well; my session was amazing. You'll have to send your grandmother my love. She outdid herself with this place." Horus laughed while taking a bite of his salad. "I'll let her know that you are appreciative of this haven." Horus and I sat and continued to whisper among ourselves. I'm learning so much about him. I wonder what his perception will be when he finds out I'm wealthy. I will not tell him anytime soon, though. I want him to continue to reveal himself in this light. So far, he's exactly what I need. We finished our lunch, then took a walk in the gardens near the waterfall. Finally, we returned to our quarters. Once back inside my session, all I could do was think about Horus. I smelled him, felt his presence and adored his masculinity and feminine energy in my world. Yep, Horus is the primal king. The journey continues...
