Kandice meets him...
She couldn't believe they were finally going to meet. She had been video chatting, sexting, texting you name it, with her long-time cyber friend. His name, Raphael Durand, hailing from Paris, France. Raphael and Kandice met through a mutual friend years ago on a social media site. Initially, he did not pique her interest, but he always seemed friendly. At first, she could not fathom the idea of a long-distance relationship. Especially one where you didn't meet the person of interest physically. Yet here she was in love and hoping that the man she had fallen for, is who he portrays to be. It's been ten years since they met online, and since that time, Raphael had moved to the states to be with another love interest of his, Kimi. He met Kimi at church after meeting Kandice online. They ran into each other at his job one year and reconnected after that.
Throughout all this time, Kandice and Raphael stayed connected, and their feelings for one another grew strong. So intense, Kandice could no longer stay away. She had plenty of lovers in Houston, but Raphael had become her magnet. He told her he was moving to the states, and there was no way she was not going to meet him. He booked her a flight, and they prepared for their rendezvous. Kandice's plane got delayed after being stalled in Las Vegas due to some bad weather. Finally, she entered the atrium. She could see him from afar: tall dark and lovely bow legs and all. His fresh mohawk cut fit his oval face, and his beard game was strong. The smell of Egyptian musk hit her nostrils as soon as he greeted her. "Kandice, wow, you look even more beautiful in person." His accent was merely alluring.
He moved in close and hugged her tight before she could reply. The embrace was enchanting and domineering. 'Hi, Raphael! I can't believe we're finally meeting. Real deal Holyfield. Live and in color in Seattle.' As he took a step back and looked at her, she realized the connection between them was fierce. She could feel the energy of his soul; it was kinetic. "So you ready to get a tour of the town? I rented a suite at Bellevue's best, Cornfield's Bed and Breakfast. I figured you might enjoy it." Kandice smiled and nodded happily. She always liked a man who would take charge and provide the best. 'Raphael, I would enjoy any place with you at this moment. ' He smiled and grabbed her hand as they made their way to his car. Life in the states was just as good for Raphael as when he was in Paris. As he opened the door of his Porsche Panamera, Kandice knew she would enjoy the ride. His manly musk lingered in the car along with his ID badge for work. Raphael's a Doctor, the ladies man, a gynecologist. He had a great run in Paris, and since he had relocated, he was able to start a private practice of his own. Even though Raphael and Kimi had only married three years ago, there was still room for Kandice, always as He would often tell her.
It was a bold move for Kandice to visit her beau thang in the hometown of he and his wife, but what else was she supposed to do? Turn down a trip? He insisted on flying her in. Kimi's out of town at a convention in D.C. for a week. So Raphael and Kandice will have plenty of time to get acquainted. He wouldn't have it any other way. Besides, they were staying in Bellevue not far from downtown and his practice. It's not likely they will run into any trouble.
The crisp fresh air greeted them as Raphael gathered the luggage from the car. The scenery at the Bed and Breakfast was breathtaking. The fall seasonal accents only added to the essence of the Estate. The bright oranges, reds, and yellows could not deny fall. The grass at the Cornfield's property was the greenest ever seen. Kandice took another deep breath as she realized her dreams were finally coming true. For years she longed to meet Raphael and thought it would never happen although she was quite determined. She felt as though she knew him in this life and another. He was her man, was and will always be.
She could see the desire in his eyes as he spoke. "Babe, I'm so glad I finally got you here. I'm sorry it took so long, but don't worry, this is only the beginning of our many adventures." He looked at her with hope and excitement. She enjoyed seeing him come alive. There was something about her that brought more life to him, and he did the same for her. 'I am looking forward to it all. I love you, Raphael!' He turned to her and smiled as he responded, "I love you too, Kandice."
